Install the main program, “VMPP_1_5_Setup.exe”.<br/><br/>2. Start 3ds Max.<br/><br/>3. Up in the top toolbar, click on “MAXScript”.<br/><br/>4. From the drop down menu, choose, “Run Script…”.<br/><br/>5. Navigate to your other file entitled, “VMPP_LicGen_iND.mse”.<br/><br/>6. Viola! This is your “Keygen/.DAT Creator”. All you can do is hit the<br/>“Generate” button, and it will seem as though nothing has happened.<br/>It did though. It has created your “.DAT” file, entitled,<br/>“vraymtlpresetsprolock.dat” in the same folder/directory as your file<br/>entitled, “VMPP_LicGen_iND.mse”.<br/><br/>7. Close 3ds.<br/><br/>8. Copy your new file entitled, “vraymtlpresetsprolock.dat”, to 3DS’s main<br/>install folder. In my case, I am running “Autodesk 3ds Max 2010 SP1 x64″,<br/>so my main installation folder is: (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2010).<br/>Yours, however, will most likely be a different folder, if you have a<br/>different version of 3ds.<br/><br/>9. Restart 3ds.<br/><br/>10. In this step, I am going to show you a quick way to simply see the program.<br/>In actual practice, you can assign the program any where you like in the<br/>toolbar.<br/>With 3ds open again, once again in the top toolbar, click on, “Customize”,<br/>and from the drop down menu, click, “Customize User Interface…”.<br/>Once the, “Customize User Interface” box appears, choose the, “Toolbars” tab.<br/>Now in the large scrolling menu on the left, scroll down nearly to the bottom,<br/>until you see an entry entitled, “V-Ray Material Presets Pro”. Click, and<br/>drag that entry just across to the right, into the, “Quick Access Toolbar”<br/>menu box, and then click the “X” in the top right hand corner of the,<br/>“Customize User Interface” box.<br/>Now, if you look up in your, “Quick Access Toolbar”, you will notice a new<br/>icon, and if you, “mouse-over” that icon, it should reflect,<br/>“V-Ray Material Presets Pro”.<br/><br/>11. Click the new icon to launch the program. If you did everything correct to<br/>this point, it should say, “V-Ray Material Presets Pro 1.5 — Registered” in<br/>the title bar of the program.<br/><br/>12. From here, just pick the material of choice from the eleven option buttons,<br/>pick further sub-categories just below that, and your material should show up<br/>in the little window at the top left hand corner of the program.<br/><br/>13.
